Google+ is shut down!
Google+ is shutting down!
Google+ is shutting down
because it has suffered another data leak.
The social network has seen security
breaches; this is leading to its downfall.
Google+ has long been the orphan of
Google, people don’t care about plus as they spend much time on Facebook or Twitter.
Despite this setback, I enjoyed
the service of Plus for my own reasons.
It doesn’t matter now since Google is shutting down the service
for several reasons.
Google could not spur stories
for greater use of plus dying social network usage, but then, thousands have enjoyed the services of Plus
while it lasted.
Unlike Facebook that is flooded
with Africans especially Nigerians by thriving on the billions of images, News
and all round gossip which seemed the speciality
of Nigerians.
Not forgetting twitter, where bots and bullying is the order of the day, Plus thrived with people of matured and like minds.
I am compelled to say Plus is
the social network for the matured mind.
It has remained quite a social enclave for meaningful and coherent synergy for
bloggers and others that love sharing interesting things other than sipping
coffee and gossiping about the life of people.
Google may have come out to labelled Plus shutting down to low Usage but
I definitely think it is because of data breach found in the social network
that brought about its sudden closure.
It has been a turbulent journey
thus far for Plus since it competitors Facebook and Twitter had been getting more patronage.
It seems right to put an end to the unwanted orphan child that is
disserted by people that are supposed to
show love to her and help her grow to what the society needs.
Why
Google plus is going down
Everything in life comes to an end Plus was no exception. She’s
got to go.
A new breach was found in Google plus social network where 52.5
million users’ data such as name, email address, occupation, and age are
exposed even when the accounts are set as private.
This is a breach of trust for online ethical privacy of users.
There is no saying what could
be done with the information obtained by the breach in Google+, so the orphan
child would have to step down for more thriving social networks like Facebook
and Twitter which at the moments are the leading social networks in the world.
Google+
failed to live up to its expectation in social networking
In as much as I would not want
to agree with the above-mentioned statement.
It is important that I cleared the
airways by saying.
The claim of Google admitting to the social network not
living up to expectation is based on perspective and relative.
I’ll be sad to see it go. It had
non-destructive editing Fuzzy search and most of the features that ended up in
Photos all the way back in 2013
To individuals like Dan Woods Google+, it was home and a place to
be!
Off course compared to millions of Google+ users, his opinion may seem
completely negligible at the moment. But it is an opinion.
Is
there a future for Google+?
There isn’t going to be a future for Google+
any longer.
As Google has already
disengaged the service from its users
across the world without considering the people that are effectively and
efficiently using it.
Although Google
has always been concerned with privacy and
securing users data, it is quite unfortunate to see this kind of breach
found in the search engine giant of our time.
I spend all day long on Google
search engine and Google+ finding information and articles to broaden my
knowledge about certain happenings around the world.
Now the services I so much
cherished is been scrapped out like some piece of garbage.
Google Plus, how far have thou fallen?
Now
that is closed, what happens to my content?
Sadly, Google+ services are now
closed. If you haven’t saved and downloaded the contents you have, it is gone.
On A Final Note
The service is no longer available and as such, we are worried. But in due time we
hope Google can come up with a more effective and efficient way of socializing than it had with Google+ that will wow peoples’ interest to flock into
it.
