To become productive and live a meaningful life in Nigeria, is to discover the secrets of being self-employed.

Until you do, you can’t start making money. 

At least not the kind that will be enough to make you truly financially independent.

To find meaning, you must realize the need to become self-dependent!

Well, if you are still waiting for the government of Nigeria or your country, you are just wasting useful hours, days and years of your life. 

Always think of how to contribute not as a liability, but as an asset. 

A meaningful asset to yourself, your family, the society and the world at large!

You owe to no one your self-realization and self-sufficiency; you owe it to yourself to become self-dependent. 

Honestly, always depending on people makes you a pest.  

Depending on people is the ultimate level of poverty.

Depend on people for medical, physical or other reasons that are beyond your control. 

Have a reason to fend for yourself. Becoming self-dependent is the key to living a successful life, especially in a country like Nigeria.

Self-dependent people are people that learn to become comfortable with their independence. 

Financial independence, emotional independence, mental independence, spiritual independence, a life full of realized dreams.

At this juncture, I see self-dependent people as individuals that are happy with their lives, living healthy among other things and maximizing the resources available at their disposal. 

These are the first steps to self-dependence, then comes the question of how to go about making the money.

unfortunately, some Nigerian youths find it difficult to live alone, fend for themselves, or even take a piss without their parents, spouse, family and friends in the know.  

In Nigeria, the Ajebutter have always live within the comfort of the parents, their family or spouse. 

They have the upper hand when it comes to getting a job.

Are you an Ajebutter or an Ajepako?

To make money, use must try to see the world as an Ajepako.

To take charge of your life is to become self-dependent, fend for yourself even if you are born with a silver spoon.

Self-dependence does not just help you in taking full control of your life, but also, it makes you a happy person in society.  

This is the ultimate spur of making money in life.  Being happy! 

A happy person always sees the good in things and at all times try to cash in on opportunities. 

That is true independence!

Looking into the lives of the richest people of our time, these people are mostly independent and also not just about being independent you must be ready to work, be mentored and learn from the people that have gone ahead.

Try to create something unique, be innovative,  always strive for excellence and go for gold.  

Because to whom much is given much more is expected. As seen in the life of the world black richest billionaire because much was given to him. 

Youths in Nigeria refuse to emulate the startup life history of Aliko Dangote , but I do not fall into that category.

Are there people like me in the world today?

Instead, Ajebutters and like-minded Nigerians embrace the spirit of scam. 

They are now keen on making money overnight by becoming Yahoo-Boyz

It is reasonable to say, the average 21st-century Nigerian youth lives to party and spend the money most of them are too lazy to work for.

Sometimes too I like to indulge myself, and unlike some of us, I work hard. 

Being raised as an ajepako, It is either I become a fraudster or legitimately embrace the below-listed practices. 

They have been working miraculously for me. 

They can also for you.

Find meaning to life

This is basically the explanation of all things. 

We all want to find the meaning of our lives, the purpose of our existence. 

But at it stands,  our passions and desires are hindering the search for what we know is right and good. 

This, of course, when put aside will give way for us to work towards achieving the desired goal. 

Then, we find the meaning of life.

This does not and will not sit well with the theory of the meaning of life.  

The theory goes like simply by searching t for meaning in our life, it is the meaning itself. 

Assume waking up every morning and just eating and sleeping.  

That is not searching for meaning in life, and you can’t make money by so doing.

Leave your comfort zone and fend for yourself

In order to become self-dependent, you must be willing to leave your comfort zone.  

This been said, the comfort zone is the code name for the place you live without fear. 

Therefore in a country like Nigeria, to understand the reason for one’s existence, you must leave your comfort zone.

To make money, you must learn to adapt to the trends.  

The old ways are gradually replaced by modern ways of doing things, thus without adapting, you are bound to fail! Innovate! 

Don’t get replaced with modern ways because you fail to leave your comfort zone, you won’t make money while still in your comfort zone. 

Leave the comfort of your home and go to Nigeria’s labour market, struggle to secure a job or be promoted in your place of work.  

This is how you can make money.

Desire the life of progress.  

Don’t feel it is too much for you because the magic will only happen when you step out of your comfort zone.  

Face your fears, overcome them, and write a wonderful story for the generations to emulate. 

The comfort zone is the first place you need to leave so as to make money.  

Face your fears and overcome them. 

No one will do this for you. 

This is what you have to figure out your self and as I always say, “lonely is the road to self-realization”.

Mingle with like-minded people around Nigeria and everywhere!

The Nigerian society and her people are willing to break you. 

Unfortunately, Nigeria as a society was not created to care for you, help or give a hoot about your feelings; the government cannot even pay you enough to cater to your needs. 

The private sectors cannot hire you nor lend you money to start a business. 

There’s a solution to this particular problem thus; mingling with like-minded people around Nigeria and the world at large! 

Start by learning what they did and are currently doing. 

How can you do the same thing or something better to make money.

Surround yourself with like-minded people. 

This off course increasing your chance of making money. 

This I must confess is very hard, but not impossible.

I just found my footing, am now mingling with the right people in my life, they always advise me to be consistent. 

And move out of my comfort zone. 

By doing this, I can see my life changing little by little!

There is no practical way or a canonized method. 

We just do what we can to make money in the process.  

Generally, there is no rule to be obeyed!  

Find and know like-minded people and keep burning the candle to see you make a living for yourself.

The right people may possess some qualities. 

This includes how you are progressing towards achieving your goals. 

They encourage you by helping you to realize your goals and aspiration without hindrance, instructing you when you are off-curse of action. 

They always provide support by words, attitude and never sabotaging your efforts.

Just like in a relationship, the right person for you will not hold you back, nor would they want to change your good behaviour and attitudes. 

They just love you unconditionally.

Learning and Mastering high paying skills

First, you nurture the idea of self-dependent, then you mingle with people that are like-minded, and now to remain with them, you need the skills that will pay your bills. 

The basics for self-dependent mean having to meet ends by yourself. 

That’s just the ultimate goal of any man to make money and live a large life.

However it is, to become self-dependent, you need to find yourself a job, a great skill or an incredible source of income. 

While pursuing office job in Nigeria, real hustlers never stopped hustling even when they have an office job.

They are known as made men!

Although you can make a living doing an office job, why not add more to that income by becoming a hustler. The struggle never ends. 

You can only graduate from one problem to another, you never solve all your problems in life. 

People only graduated from one a single point in life where their wants increases that’s all.

I made the best Decision in my life

Back in the day, I always read one success story to another.  

I never understand that in life you can make your own success story. 

But I never understood, to become self-dependent in life, you need to make the choice and live with it.

The choice, I made is to write my own success story for people to read. 

I made the biggest decision by taking a stand that I need MONEY!  

The only way to get that money is to develop a good skill and use it in making money. 

I took the bold step and decide to become self-dependent.
